A veteran cable television executive, Mary Donahue joined HISTORY in October 2008 and was part of the team that developed and launched the break out hit series, Pawn Stars, and she serves as its executive producer. She currently develops and supervises both specials and series for the network, including the new hit series Swamp People.

Prior to joining HISTORY, Donahue worked from 2004-2008 at Discovery Channel, serving as Executive Producer, Senior Executive Producer and Vice President, Creative Content. Specializing in talent and character driven series, she developed and launched a broad array of programs during that time, including Man Vs Wild, Storm Chasers, Cash Cab, Alaska Experiment and Future Weapons, as well as the Emmy nominated 'Expedition' series with the BBC Natural History Unit. Donahue also oversaw Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs, spearheading ratings growth on both series. She also supervised stunts, including the highest rated years of Shark Week.

Donahue has produced for a wide range of organizations and programs, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, where she was a producer/field director for six years. Charles Nordlander is Vice President of Development and Programming for HISTORY^TM, a position he assumed in August 2007.

Prior to joining HISTORY, Nordlander served from 2005 to 2007 as Vice President, Program Development for the Food Network, where he had the distinction of being the channel's first-ever head of development. Beginning as a freelancer in the entertainment department, he soon became a full-time Commissioning Editor in the Classical Music and Theatre departments. In 1990, he became Deputy Head of Zentralredaktion Kultur, the programming unit of ZDF's culture and science department.
When the German-French Culture Channel ARTE was created, he became Senior Commissioning Editor of all the documentaries ZDF produces for ARTE. In 1998, he headed the department exclusively dedicated to theme nights, THEMA.

He joined RAI in 1986: two years later, he became a producer for Mixer in 1988, producing, directing and appearing on camera in dozens of segments (5' to 1h), on such different topics as Italian terrorism, US politics, domestic and international affairs, among many others. Last year, APT was responsible for nearly half of the top 100 highest rated titles on PBS member stations. APT manages Create TV channel, featuring the best of public television's lifestyle programming and the most popular multicast channel provided by PTV stations.
