Nomura joined NHK in 1991 and was first assigned as a producer for the News Program Division in Tokyo and Osaka, where he produced news features and documentaries. From 2003 to 2008, he was assigned to Satellite Channel 1 (BS1 News programs) and served as director and news editor in its International News Division. In 2004, Nomura traveled to Europe to cover the enlargement of the EU from France, Germany and the Czech Republic. He also directed live broadcasting news operations. That same year, he received an award for his documentary coverage on increasing obesity in the world. In 2008, Nomura was assigned to direct the international news coverage for NHK's main morning news program. He also directed and produced a documentary on a Japanese music conductor who worked to bring peace in Kosovo and surrounding regions through music. Cynthia A. Fenneman is President and CEO of American Public Television (APT), a leading distributor of high quality, viewer favorite programs to U.S. public television's 359 stations. Last year, APT was responsible for nearly half of the top 100 highest rated titles on PBS member stations. APT manages Create TV channel, featuring the best of public television's lifestyle programming and the most popular multicast channel provided by PTV stations. In addition, APT distributes the World TV channel, showcasing public television's premier non-fiction programs and documentaries for diverse audiences.

Fenneman has 34 years of commercial, public and network cable television experience and been awarded more than 30 international, national and regional awards, including 12 regional Emmys and a CableAce.

Her national U.S. television experience includes Major Projects Executive and launch team member for Discovery Health Channel, Special Projects Director for PBS's Local Programming Initiative as well as Executive Producer of A&E Biography, PBS, Discovery and APT programs.

Fenneman worked at Westinghouse Broadcasting for 10 years: at KYW-TV/Philadelphia as EP Programming, lead national producer for the nightly syndicated Evening/PM Magazine and producer of award-winning news, documentary, live talk, and entertainment programs; at KPIX-TV/San Francisco as a producer for the #1 morning show; and WJZ-TV/Baltimore in nightly news. When at ITN Factual, Philip executive produced more than 200 programmes including Diana-The Witnesses in the Tunnel (Channel 4), The First Head Transplant (Five/National Geographic) and Science of Interrogation (National Geographic/Discovery Canada). More recently ITN Factual produced its first ever HD series Pandamonium for Animal Planet and the Channel 4 series What Really Happened which saw journalist Jacques Peretti going behind the tabloid headlines of celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and Heather Mills.

In 1997, Michel founded Distraction Formats, the first-ever independent company to specialize in format distribution. Widely viewed as the driving force behind the establishment of the now recognized format industry, he continues to play a key role in its development. Instigator of the first ever Television Format Market at the Monte Carlo Television Festival in 1999, Michel was deemed by the press as 'The Father of Formats' for his in-depth knowledge of the format business. In the early 70's he started his television career as a writer, cameraman and director. He worked as a producer of variety programming and in 1984 was appointed Vice-President of Programming and Production at Télé-Capitale Inc.(now,TVA). Michel is an active member of the International Television community. He was a member of the International Emmys. Founding board member of the Entertainment Master Class (EMC) and is an attendee at the major international television markets in addition to being a regular conference speaker and founding Vice Chairman of FRAPA, the Format Recognition and Protection Association. He joined Al-Arabiya/MBC TV Networks in February 2004 as US Bureau Chief running both Washington and New York/UN Bureaus. He stayed in this position until February 2006.
